- Matariki Sale!

Matariki is now the officially celebrated Māori New Year. This mid-winter festival, or winter solstice, is signalled by the first appearance of the Matariki cluster of stars—also known as the Pleiades or the Seven Sisters—in the Taurus constellation in late May or early June. Matariki translates to “Eyes of God” (mata – ariki) or “Little Eyes” (mata – riki).
This is a great time to not only learn about these stars, but also about the whole universe that God created on the fourth day. Why not take some time out to go outside and look up at the wonder and beauty of God’s creation, and also learn more about it in our special astronomy pack (below)—which is on sale for one week only.
This pack includes …
How can we see distant stars
in a young universe?
21 page booklet by Dr Carl Wieland & Dr Don Batten [00-1-518]
Did God create light in transit? Was the speed of light faster in the past? Does this have anything to do with the ‘big bang’? See how God could have created the universe and Adam and Eve would have seen distant starlight on the sixth day of creation week.
Our Created Solar System (Vol 1 of the What You Aren't being Told About Astronomy series)
109 minute DVD by Spike Psarris [30-9-587]
Clear and convincing evidence that current scientific facts support the Biblical account of creation, and defy the evolutionary model in multiple ways. Many of the planets and moons appear to be young, not billions of years old. Plus, these objects show evidence of design, not random processes.
Our Created Stars and Galaxies (Vol 2 of the What You Aren't being Told About Astronomy series)
63 minute DVD by Spike Psarris [30-9-619]
Travel beyond the Solar System and explore the entire Cosmos. See how secular astronomy models fail to explain the heavenly bodies, but the Biblical account of Creation is consistent with what we see.
Our Created Universe (Vol 3 of the What You Aren't being Told About Astronomy series)
108 minute DVD by Spike Psarris [30-9-656]
Explore the origin of the universe. Did it form in a Big Bang event billions of years ago? Or are the heavens consistent with the biblical account of creation instead?
